Stupid question about nandroid
So I just used Droid root helper and successfully went through all the steps, (mount, install busybox, flash recoveryimage, etc). When I was done, I clicked reboot into recovery mode, and when I was in recovery mode, I was in what the new flashed sirpshcho5 screen.
I just exited out of this, and rebooted normally, but now, when i reboot into recovery mode (hold X while powering on), I am presented with the stock android recovery screen! How did it revert back??

You either skipped the "rename recovery-from-boot" step or it didn't work.

You're right, I skipped rename recovery, I did it out of order. Thanks!

I am trying to do this as well, and when I get to step 14 on
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dro...-easy-way.html
that guide... I reboot into recovery mode and at the bottom in the black space I get the message:
"E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command"
And there is no nandroid sub-menu.
Any ideas? I would really like to be running 2.1 but cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it.
Thanks
