Thread: Flashed to 2.0.1 now to update to 2.2?

    Flashed to 2.0.1 now to update to 2.2?

    I decided to unroot my droid and go back to stock since i wasnt really messing with my phone anymore and i heard rumors that Verizon is starting to track rooted devices because they dont accept an update. I used the sbf to go back to 2.0.1 so i could get the official updates. It automatically downloaded 2.1-update 1 but now when i go to system updates it says i am up to date. No 2.2?

    That is correct. All OG droids these days that are not rooted are up to Android 2.2.2.
    It's not an incremental update.

    The P3droid thread is just speculation. Not sure if that is even possible. There are people out there that just refuse to update anything. They can't just shut off their service for that. If you are heavily tethering, that is something that they can notice.

    Go into about phone. What version does it say you are on?
