About LinkBacksI got the original Droid yesterday. It came fully flashed with superuser apk installed already, and the file in /system/bin/su file already installed. Nothing I run will bring up superuser permissions allow so I am assuming my permissions on the su file are messed up. Currently it's set to rwxr-xr-x. I went to boot into recovery to use adb and CHMOD the file only to find out it has stock recovery still on it and adb doesnt find the phone assumingly because of that since it sees the phone when i am in the booted to androidOS instead of recovery. So is there anyway I can get root back without compromising my cricket flash? Like just flash a custom recovery rom with nothing else so I can access adb shell. Any ideas? I am pretty new to all of this so I've done countless hours of reading already.
