    Just Rooted Droid X- Cannot Tether

    Barnacle says that i am tethering right now but cannot see a connection on Laptop or other droid phones.

    I used z4root.

    Nothing else has been done, (No roms, or Kernals) Still reading about how to do them.

    Any if would help.

    I didnt use PDAnet because it was 30day trial.
    Easy tether said it needed a kernal installed and didnt see any instructions on how to install it. (didnt really search)

    Does Barnacle have different channels in settings?

    Yes, it has 13 channels... All Different MHZ's

    Try a higher channel and see if that helps.
