Yes. The problem was the droid was stuck on a really old recovery version and it would not except any nandroid backups. It took a few hours and a lot of trial and error but we got it all fixed up , back to stock then rerooted, recovery flashed to 99.3b and running sholesmods newest release. Overall it was a WIN.

Way to hang in...I know the sucky feeling when you think that you have really fried the phone! Hope I never need to ask the same, but I'm glad you're there.
Sam, with the brass ones, running Sholes again! My episode scared me enough to wait for the 2.1 ota. After that, we'll see.

It says clearly that you enter it into a terminal emulator or ADB shell on your computer...are you rooted?

While I'm not planning on rooting tonight I decided to at least go through some of the instructions I've seen many refer to.
[How To] Easily install Bugless Beast using only SPRecovery, Terminal Emulator, & zip by Matth3w was as good a place as any to start. That led me to this thread. I was going to set aside the restore files but find that they are missing.
droidbz.zip and virginoem-backup.zip are no longer in their original locations as linked in post #1 of this thread. This is a perfect reason for anyone wanting to root to have your own local copies and read through instructions before attempting to root. This way you make sure you have all the bases covered.
