back my apps up to the sdcard
I haven't started installing any roms yet since none are really stable, but when i do start installing, i don't want to have to go back to the market and redownload all the apps that I have on here right now...how can i backup the apk to my sd so when i have to wipe my data, i can just install all the apk's from the sd??

You can with Astro. Before I rooted, I used Astro's App manager, backed up all my apps to my SD card with a few clicks. Then afterwards, I reinstalled all my apps through Astro. Only problem is that they dont show up in the marketplace as installed 'Downloads'.

I've also done this before, usually after waiting a bit they end up in the market place's "downloads".

also if they don't show up as downloads in the market they won't show updates for the apps either.

So by reading the prior posts here, is it relevant to believe the following?
I had to backup my apps because I had to get a replacement Droid. I backed up my apps, reinstalled on my new Droid. Now I have nothing in downloads on Market, but according to the above they will eventually appear and thus get the updates as they are released.
Can anyone confirm this for me?

Nevermind, they just all appeared.
