2.1 Launcher2.apk now for 2.0.1!! (2.1 app drawer and 5 screens)

Does this 3d launcher work on 2.1 or only on 2.0.1?

Koush put out a clockworkmod 3D launcher that is working on the 2.1 ese81 based roms it is in the market. I think it is under clockworkmod launcher.

Unfortunately it is $1.99 BUT, it is worth it because so far it is FLAWLESS, and works exactly like it should, even in Landscape mode.

Koush needs to visit Moto/Verizon and show them how to do things RIGHT!

Even better, they should hire him and put him in charge of Droid updates.

FYI, do NOT use the original "Launcher2" posted/discussed in this thread with ESE81 (Droid 2.1 OTA) update. I am deleting the zip files from the original post.

Yeah got the update this morning after some futzzing around i was able to delete the original launcher i had. (Opening advanced taskkiller from notif panel and switching to settings) but i really liked it and i dont want to pay for it HELP.

Helix 1 is actually pretty good. It runs much smoother than the Launcher2 did. It's not 3d like Launcher2 and it doesn't have the dots on either side to let you know what screen you're on. But it gives up to 7 screens and it is very smooth! (Do NOT get Helix2...it will not run on Droid 2.1 update OTA)

The Launcher2 discussed here will not work with the Official OTA 2.1 update, this thread is no longer relevant.

Please see the following threads for 2.1 style Home/Launcher apps that WILL work with the Droid 2.1 update.. and give you more than 3 screens.
