2.1 Launcher2.apk now for 2.0.1!! (2.1 app drawer and 5 screens)

i jus installed this .apk to my Droid and im just wondering if it came with live wallpapers and if so could someone instruct me on how to go about applying them , also i want to know if anyones gallery changed cuz mine sure didnt lo

Sorry no Live wallpapers on this installation. You'll have to root your phone and flash one of the 2.1 roms to get that feature, and even then I heard it's still in the works, but some of them work.

The live wallpapers is not available at this time, though the 2.1 wallpapers are included here.

This apk only installs the launcher, to get the 2.1 gallery, go to that thread for the apk and install.

OK, now I'm confused. Does this 2.1 launcher file include the 2.1 gallery or is that another download? The 2.0.1 gallery is one of the most annoying things (to me) in the Droid.

Just 2.1 Launcher (5 Home pages, 3D app Drawer, 2.1 Normal Wallapapers).

Well, I installed it. However, I get wayyy too many force closes. I get one almost every other minute, sometimes more frequently. What I will say, is that I'm happy that this apk was found, because it gave me a taste of whats to come. The 5 screens was very nice, and the 2.1 animations, etc. So for me, this was a great preview. I'm even more excited for 2.1.

i agree 100% i feel like it makes doubles of albums sometimes (or maybe its just me) but i love the way 2.1 gallery looks and after i installed the launcher it wasnt changed , unfortunately , any help on this one?

Yeah, I'm currently in the same boat. I re-installed twice already. I'm debating whether to uninstall GDE (as I'm waiting for an update and already have it configured/themed the way I like) to see if it helps, but from my own rationality I don't think it matters.
