Anyways thanks for the replies and the links. I dl it but still no luck using it I've tried before but can never get it to find my phone............I have adual boot lptop running vista and ubuntu what are my chances with the sbf_flash util and where can I find that

S/n what suck is as far as the scenes come and you still have to use this program to change m boot logo

Make sure USB debugging is on, and you started the phone while holding up on the directional pad? Also, make sure to have the motorola usb drivers installed.

No offense, but gotta ask a stupid question. You *have* done the following, correct?

Turn off UAC ( user access control ) in the user accounts settings, and then reboot. Then run as administrator.
