Did you wipe data and cache? If so,make sure the file that you downloaded was complete.

Also if you wanna make ROM installs and stuff a breeze, check out Raid Zero's Recovery. It's much better than Clockwork IMO, you can simply go to the wipe option -> Wipe all and Viola its done. lol

Also It'll prompt you to wipe all before you flash a new ROM.

I chose the backup option instead of wipe. It still installed but the the issues I mentioned. Should I try wiping cache and installing again? What is a good backup to use so I can get all my apps back? I have titanium but I had it b4 and when I installex gingerbread I lost titanium and all my apps (except google apps) and had to get them all back from market

Based on the last reply, I'm thinking that you are using RomManager and ClockWork. If that is the case, then reinstall and wipe data and cache. Do not do a backup. Titanium Pro and MyBackUp Pro are two excellent apps for backing up data and apps.

    Hope this is helpful.

Correct and correct. I will try it again that way. Guess I will stop being cheap and purchase titanium pro lol. So will I be able to get my apps back without backing up or will I be back to square one again?

As this point, unless there is something that you absolutely can not live without, I would not worry too much about the apps. Get the rom installed and your phone working.

Were you able to install PE? If so, are you still having FC issues?
