Change font color on notification bar

As title states, can you change the color of the notification bars text? Im currently running HC2.1 with clear status bar, only problem is my background is dark colored and the font is black. So its hard to see whats going on(as far as notification text, icons and weather temp)

Running DM 1.0 also with Adamz Smoked Glass theme. I used the guide here to change the clock to white. Just follow the instructions. It's not hard at all.

So xUltimate seems like a good and easy option for this, thanks! but it also seems like it might be a bit of an overkill. Is there a simpler way to do this? (actually I'm looking for a way to do it from Linux without using a Windows emulator)

Here is what I did.....I pulled the services.jar off one of the roms that had the clock and notifications in white. You have to push it to /system/framework so it takes the place of the file you currently have.
