    Z4root trouble

    After download im lost. It ask what program do I want to open it with. Please help

    Use astro or the native file browser to find the apk and click on it and choose to instal it.

    In astro I believe you hit open app manager. YouTube z4 root tutorial. I have a video on there xdroidrom.

    Download astro file manager from the market and rename the z4root.txt to z4root.apk....it is just named like that to allow download from that site

    Or you can get any .apk well, not any but very many from 4shared.com it's the best. But to install the one you downloaded do what the other person said, just rename from .txt to .apk then it'll work

    Don't give up....we were all noobs at one point just stick with it. Use astro to rename file by holding down on the file then electing edit.

    You might need app installer to install apk but I can't recall.....I always use it.

    Quick note....you are going to need to hit menu, then settings, applications, and check the box by allow unknown sources. Just pm me if you need help
