clockwork mod recovery reboot problem

hi there i have a d1 it is my second one rooted but i believe something went wrong on the rooting process everything seems normal but every time i try to push a new Rom cant get to it.
when in recovery (clockwork mod recovery) i have to be really quick because after 5 seconds it shows an error saying it cant mount sd card and then freezes and reboots.
i already tried flashing spr recovery again but it still does it and i also noticed it doesnt do it until i flash clockwork mod recovery.


any ideas?

That is interesting. What method did you use to root your droid?

Try this it has worked for me. When in cw scan around for a min to make sure it is not going to freeze. When it does freeze and start the reboot hold x down when the screen goes black then it should fix it for that one time. When flashing ca from rom manager if it takes longer than 5 seconds to say flash successful then it is a bad flash. I have had to reboot my phone and flash it just to get a good one. Hope it works and let us know. A gentleman here wrote the work around a while back and it has worked for me

Try reflashing your recovery through ROM Manager if possible. I've only ever had 2 problems with CWM, but what's fixed them is flashing SPrecovery and then reflashing CWM back on top of SP.

Just the first thing that came to mind.

I already flashed spr again and it still does it I'm kind of learning to live with it now , I'm using cyanogen mod 7 and with the nigtlies it does not freeze but if I go to recovery sometimes it does it and sometimes it won't weird huh?
