I'd heard about it, so I installed it yesterday to try it out. I'd been reading less than stellar reports about the implementation on the Omnia2, so I was a bit hesitant; however I figured that there was nothing to lose.

Long story short, I absolutely love it. It seems less than intuitive for approximately as long as it takes to do the tutorial the first time. After that, it just seems, well, FAST........

its ok for me so far takes a little while to get use to heck try it if you don't like it it can always be removed right. but the tutorial it comes with is pretty good. i haven't experienced any lag yet. but like i said its just my opinion there just give it a shot.

i downloaded and installed the program. my only concern was the disclaimer that states our swipes including passwords can be monitored. is anyone else worried or am i being paranoid.

You are being paranoid ... that warning comes up for any thing that interfaces with key input, because it COULD also log the keystrokes.

If you see that on an app that is NOT a keyboard, then yes it is a huge red flag ... but for every keyboard type app, you will get that warning.

I just hope the dev releases the final version with the option to only use swype when in vertical mode. I still prefer the regular keyboard in landscape, but you can't beat swype for one handed typing when holding the phone vertically!
