D2G Roms: Fission 2.4.3??

Thanks to about 3 hours of surfing this forum, I finally got up the knowledge and the nerve to root my D2G (thank you!). So I am rooted, bootstrap backed-up, tested the wireless tether (no better than PDAnet or 3G Mobile Hotspot), and now what?

It seems to only ROM for this phone is Fission 2.5.5, but when I open Fission ROM manager, the most recent ROM showing is 2.4.3.

Can I load 2.4.3? I am guessing not. Why can't I see at least 2.5.5 or the most recent 2.5.7 on Fission Rom Manager? Do I need the pay version?

Also, as a newbie, what do I do next if there are no good working ROMs out there yet for my phone? I downloaded Titanium Backup and deleted a few bloatware apps, but now what?

A steer towards the appropriate link would be helpful - D2G specific.

OK, So I took the plunge after a few more hours of reading and have flashed over to Fission 2.4.3. So far so good, but I am still rebuilding/customizing.

One major problem so far, bluetooth will turn on, but does not recognize any devices. Am I in need of a patch? What am I missing? BT is crucial...

Also, Can how can I get my 3G Mobile Hotspot capability back?

Seems like I have lost more than I have gained...

Help?

First of all, by deleting your bloatware you've made an android update impossible, second why do you want hotspot back when you already have tethering capabilities? As fas as bt goes, I don't have a clue...hope all goes well!

Are you sure your other bt devices are in discoverable mode?
