Flash OG Droid to Walmart's Straight Talk possible?

yes the droid can be flashed to straight talk. I do not represent the company im suggesting, but i know a company that does it for cheap and will warranty the flashing service. You would have to send them your phone...i know, who wants to be without their phone for a few days? However, you could go to some back alley service to have it done, or send it to them. If you would like the info, just reply.

Can the Droid 2 Global be used on straight talk or just the original Droid??

If you do your 'due diligence' in searching all droid forums including Howard, you'll find ways to use straight talk sims in Android phones, you need to buy the straight talk smart phone for $199 there are two models. ST phones ending w/ a 'c' are CDMA phones with no sim running on leased verizon network and the others have a sim running GSM ATT network. The D2global says "Global" but has a firmware USA lockout on the Radio ROM. Team BlackHat has a leak that overwrites your current ROM but you have to use old SBF. A rooted ATT Android is easiest for ST AFTER you spend $200 on their smartphone and you can't sell it. If someone activates it you lose your sim, it's related to that ESN/MEI. My favorite is to flash a Droid, OG, X, 2 or whatever to Boost CDMA. [I have a rooted modded DG2 and I divorced Verizon I use it as a VoIP phone through my 'One Number' Free svc but have to have wifi, or BT reverse tether, my VoIP program looks for that too. I'm switching to a DroidX and Boost, these links should get u up to speed]

I have been doing a little reading on this. I have a droid 1 brand new in the wrapper, I'd like to get flashed to Straight talk. anyone that can toss some info my way would be greatly appreciated
