Nandroid Restore problem

I am trying to do a restore because my wifi is not working after getting halfway through the wifi tethering instructions. When I hit the restore (latest) option, I am getting the error message "Nandroid exited with status 1". I still have the BCDMRS folder that I saved before updating to 2.1. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this or do I need to do a clean wipe and start over?

When using SPS' recovery version 14 or later, you need to put the BCDMRS folder directly into the nandroid folder, instead of putting them in a subfolder. Older versions created the backup in a subfolder (I can't recall the name of the folder that was created). Just copy the BCDMRS folder, put it into the nandroid folder, and delete the empty folder.
