pinch and zoom multi touch

I was able to install the multi touch browser from my terminal on my phone. pm with your email and I can forward you the steps it was really simple to do.

I'm calm... I just felt the need to put it in CAPS because if every other post is some n00b with 2 posts telling us how Dolphin has multi-touch, this thread doesn't become very useful now does it?

No, he's right. You need to calm down. You might also consider using O instead of 0. It's annoying and makes you look like a teenage wannabe hacker. 0=number, O=letter.

At what point did I not remain calm? Just trying to keep the thread useful before I unsubscribed. I stated at least 3 times before that pretty nicely (if you had read the entire thread), so that time I put a few caps in it... "whooaaaaa, take it easy there guy"

I think maybe you guys need to calm down a bit and not read into things too much. Because this internet is serious business ya know!

I just want to say thanks to all you devs for creating awesome alternatives to browsing and including multitouch. There is just one thing that is keeping me from using xscope or dolphin as my default browser, though. On the stock browser, it loads webpages in "overview" meaning zoomed out but fits the screen perfectly. This is good because on most pages it is still readable because of the droids awesome resolution. If someone would just add this in to one of these alternative browsers (so I don't have to zoom out on every page loaded) I would use it as my default. Just a thought. Thanks again!

Dolphin has this built in. There is a setting in it so that when you pinch zoom out it will resize to precisely fit the screen. Also, when you are readin something online (e.g., NY Times article) it will resize the content to fit the scren for whatever zoom level you are in. It's an outstanding browser. Google should just buy it and fold it into stock Android.

And yet Dolphin doesn't make bookmarks easy to get to - it's not that user friendly IMHO which is why I still use the stock browser.

if rooted here is a quick fix if you want stock multitouch, if you scroll down to the bottom i have the commands listed so you can revert if you dont like it, i personally didnt like the multi touch and reverted back to regular stock
