    z4root

Is it safe to assume that z4root will not work after the update? I had unrooted my D1 for the update and now it appears that z4root will not work.

Doesn't using a one click root not give you a custom recovery? I would flash an sbf.

I used Z4root on one of my Droid's as well as numerous others for friends and then used ROM Manager to flash clockwork recovery. Works perfect and couldn't be any easier. I would recommend to anyone.

Can also flash SPRecovery using ROM Manager if you so choose!

But without fixing it in memory on the latest builds it won't stick. I have a workaround fix for that.

However, Z4Root will not currently work on the Droid post FRG83D.
