    Cool Rooted Droid 1 with 2.2.... need help with 2.3

    Ok so at 4:40am I got the android update 2.3. Stupid me hit ok cause I was half asleep and my phone reset and went to sprecvory. Nothing happened at all, still same info I just hit reboot. Now when I check for updates it says I'm currenty up to date when I have 2.2. Is there any way I can stay rooted and get 3.3?
    My phone stats:
    Model number: Droid
    Android version: 2.2
    Baseboard: c_01.43olp
    Kernel: 2.6.32-lowV1.16hz
    Chevyno1@ubuntn-froyo#3
    Build: FRG22D

    Any info would be great, thanks!!!

    The latest update is 2.2.1, FRG83D. 2.3 has not been released yet on any phone or as source, just the Software Developers Kit (SDK).

    There is a rooted FRG83D available here..

    It may be a while. Since 2.2.1 was just released/pushed to the Droid and no device has 2.3 currently......

    Ok sounds good, id rather keep my droid rooted than to unroot it just to have 2.3 on it. I hope it does come out soon
