Missed the part about NOT sbf to 2.1 on 2.2...

So, I use RSD to get back to 2.1 on my 2.2 Droid X. It's stuck in the bootloader right now and I am downloading a 2.2 SBF. Is it toally bricked or can I save it? I just got it today :/

as long as you use that 2.2 sbf you should be fine same thing happened to me a while back

It's back up and working fine now, except I can't activate/program it...

When I call to activate it it disconnects and says "programming unsuccessful". I have full bars during the whole phone call, so it's not getting dropped.

Have you tried rebooting the phone? Simple answer I know, but mine did that before and gave me the unsuccessful programming thing. I rebooted, and it turned out that the programming actually went thru and I hadn't realized it

But other than that im not exactly sure why it would be doing that to you. SBF'ing should basically reset it and let you be g2g for setup.

I just tired restarting it, that didn't seem to help.

Sometimes Verizon's activation system is wacky in the early mornings, at least in my experience. You should be able to manually activate it though. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/res...vzw-phone.html
