How do I update my radio and will it help?

I have a rooted droid 1 running frg01b and froyo the baseband is c_01.43.01p. My phone reception is very poor where my wife gets a much better signal with her verizon phone. I thought that updating the radio firmware might improve my reception but I have no idea how to do this. Can someone tell me how to update the radio if this will help.

I'm almost positive that's the most current baseband. But you can dial *228 and it will do like a reactivation with verizon, I do it sometimes cause I'm constantly flashing and whiping my phone but it might help. Try it out
