    will this work?

So im running bb v0.5 and have a smoked glass theme. I want to try the MIUI ROM. would i install it the same way or do i need to take the theme off? IM kinda new to all this rooting stuff but im getting the hang of it. One more question when they say create a back up do i do that on rommanager? I did the superoneclick method from theunlockr.com if that helps any. thanks

Make a nandroid backup of your current, then wipe and install the new rom per the instructions on their page. There are people that say you should wipe 3 times.

    Yes.

Or you can boot into recovery manually and prevent RM from possibly wrecking your recovery and losing your backups.

If you already have the rom on your SDcard you can do it all at once. Boot into recovery, make a backup, wipe data/cache, install ROM, reboot and enjoy
