SD Card - What is lost.dir?

I was playing with Astro and noticed that LOST.DIR uses the most space on my SD card (I haven't downloaded songs yet), 35 MBytes. Anyone know what that is?

Also, the Process Manager seems pretty cool. Anyone used that over Task Killer? I guess if Process Manager works I don't need task killer.

    Thanks.

I believe the Lost.dir is used for compatibility with the Mac OS, so it would only be used when connecting to a Mac.

LOST.DIR is something mac disk repair looks for and will ask about as part of it's repair process. If it's related at all to the standard lost+found, then it's a special file that holds all the corrupted or orphaned files found during a file system check.

    So Droids is correct...

For my experience the LOST.DIR is like the recycle bin from windows. Android is a linux derivate so if you delete a file via Windows PC, and forgot to unmount the device, where such files get deleeted, the LOST.DIR keeps em for recovery

Right now it doesn't take up much space. However, if it grows to 100 MB+ I would definitely want to delete it.

Speaking of Directories on the SD card, does anyone know what the "agilefusion" directory is for?

It has a subfolder called "Thumbs" and inside that a ton of "cache" files.

AND the reason I ask is I have noticed a lot of apps leave directories behind and I like to clean them out when no longer using the uninstalled app.
