    Settings about phone, status, PRL version.

    What does updating this do? I'm not sure that the Preferred rpaming list version is/does. More roaming, less roaming?

    Just got the update this morning, didn't do *228. My PRL # is 51638

    must've been something they just changed. i'm getting better 3g coverage today... for now.

    It is recommended to do this every month to stay up to date.

    Doesn't mean they will necessarily change every month but they do change them.

    i never understood why they just don't force it to your phone. i'd be wiling to bet maybe 10% of subscribers actually do this.
