Droid & my battery today 14 hrs + w/40% left

Tried an experiment today for battery draining
Froyo 2.2 unrooted

1. Uninstalled Task Manager that I had.

2. Turned off the following Widgets
DigiClock
Touchdown

3. Left on
Power Setting Widget

4. Logged out of Facebook App (latest version by the way)

Yesterday I didn't even get 10 hours until I was at 10% battery

Today I am 14 hrs plus and still have 40% battery left. Same usage if not more today.

Maybe the Widgets are the bad guys.

check the updating frequency of apps and widgets. I keep facebook on just change the update time to its longest and it seems to help a lot. I do not use apps that update lots and lots such as sports scores
