Froyo 2.2 just came via OTA, with flash 10.1

my dad's phone just got the OTA on his droid, and asked me to get flash on it for him, because he had heard me talk about how it wasn't coming officially yet until 'late summer'.

so I download it on my laptop, plug in his phone, mount the SD card, open up the folder and...

there's flash, not in a folder or anything, right on the sd card.

I copied it to my desktop, just in case.

he says he had it mounted an hour ago, before the OTA, and put a couple songs on it--didn't see flash there...

anyone have an idea what just happened?

should I post the file?

there's a second update coming to enable flash.

and you have to download flash from the market, look for "adobe"

Did you even read his post? What is he supposed to search for? Things that have never happened to anyone else before?

To the OP. Unless something drastically chjanged last night...your dad probably inadvertantly downloaded flash before. It did not come with the OTA...unless of course...like I said...something changed big time last night.

So is Flash out there or not. Downloaded 10.1 to my laptop, commected Droid to laptop, transfered file but the file wouldn't load. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
