Stupid question, I don't know how to add this to the phone.

Unzip them into a folder on your computer and copy them to your SD Card. From there, use BetterCut ($1.99 from the Market) to change your desktop shortcuts.

Delete them from your default home screen (I assume you're using a replacement), that will delete them from the list. One of the annoyances I had with the 2.1 launcher that made me switch to home++

you need to have an icon pack downloaded that you want to use on your phone. go to 'new shortcut', activity, and then choose the activity that you want to apply a new icon to. you can also change the name, too. just make sure that when you create it, you have room on the screen that you want it to go to because it will automatically apply it. i use bettercut and i love it. hope this helps.
