Email question before i buy
Does the Droid work with all other email addresses other than Gmail? I heard that it only supports google mail. Which I find hard to believe since you can check any email you want on any other smart phone.
Thanks

No, you can set the phone up to check most other email services with the "Email" app that comes on the phone.

Its just my email through my ISP. It goes through outlook express or I can check it online. So thats not going to be a problem right?
And one other question, how much faster is the Droid going to be with surfing the net and pulling up apps than a BB 8530? I know the processor in the Droid is faster but is it going to be noticeable?

First frm your ISP it's probably POP3. So you're fine. It's not pusged like BB though. You can set it pull your email every 15 minutes if you like.
Second the spped is hugly different. You won't miss the BB at all. I know I don't

I set mine up with my POP3 account (centurytel.net) and I have it check it very often. Any time I get an email I am alerted within a few minutes. I then set up a shortcut on my home page to access it. I have never owned a Blackberry, but I am very satisfied with the way the Droid handles email.
