How do I make apicture I took as wallpaper without it being so large?
Copy the file to you PC and use a program to change the size to 960x854 pixels. You may be able to do this directly on the Droid, but I don't know how. You can get much more info in the Themes section of the forum.
When you select an image for wallpaper you should be prompted to 'crop' the picture... or select a portion with the locked aspect ratio of the DROID screen. (It's the orange box that comes up when you 'set as' for wallpaper)
PicSay Pro (app in Market) will allow you to re-size your photos.
If you don't wanna use an APP on your phone (or pay) there are several web based photo editors that will allow you to re-size an image. PicNik would be my suggestion for web based editors...
if i try to do this with a picture that is smaller than the 960x854 size limit, I am still having to crop. Doesn't make sense...
I can't seem to drag the crop line to the vertical edges of the screen - only horizontal. Any tips for that? I'm having the same issue with image size...

Microsoft's Powertoys "right-click resizer" is really easy to use, i used it on my pics.
I have the same problem. When I select a picture to set as my wallpaper, I drag the orange/red box as big as I can, but it won't do the whole picture. I stretch it as big as I can, click 'set as', and my wallpaper looks ridiculous. Say I want to set a full body picture of me and my friend, it turns out as a blow-up of parts of our faces. Please assist me in this problem!![]()
