Can you not forward MMS on default Droid messaging?

I received a MMS video clip via text yesterday and wanted to forward it but found no option anywhere to forward to other contacts. Is this not possible with the default program?

Will I need the Handcent I keep seeing discussed?

I did try that and all it does is play the video. There is just the "play" arrow icon and when I long hold it just plays the video when I release it.

Press and hold the actual message (within the thread) that contains the video, but not 'on' the video itself. Like in the blue part. Then a menu comes up and choose 'forward'. You can then send out to whoever.

I tried the above advice as I'm having the same problem, but when I long press the the message from the threads list i get no such option to forward. The only options available are to view contact, view, delete and blacklist.

Just solved my own problem. Holding the actual text above the video, not the video itself, was the key.
