You may want to put on the patience hat...

Instead of rushing to the store to pick up your DROID if eligible for "New Every Two", you should order your DROID online in your account at VZW's site, or, call VZW to order the DROID. Don't have to deal with the mail-in-rebate, as the $100 rebate is instant + your $100 "New Every Two" discount = $99 shipped. You also don't have to pay for the phone upfront, you can choose to have it billed on your next statement. You also don't get your rebate in the form of a stupid prepaid debit card - it's instant savings.

If you order today, they said it ships within two (2) business days, meaning you will probably get the phone by Wed. of next week.
