About LinkBacksSo I orderded my droid 7-15 on launch date I still have no received my phone so i decided to call and no they tell me my new tentative ship date is 8-3 how the hell is that possible??? Is anyone having the same issues??

07-20-2010 10:09 AMThe only reason I can figure is that there was alot of pre orders (alot before July 15th) for the X and they sold out FAST!......and they are waiting for a shipment to come in...

07-20-2010 10:09 AMI am sure there are alot of people in the same boat as you. They can;t ship what they don't have.
The only thing to do is wait or search for a local dealer that has one.......A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

07-20-2010 10:20 AMWell as bill said who knows who it to blame but chances are Motorola told Verizon the shipment will hit their warehouse one day. And Verizon makes the announcement then a week later Moto comes back and says we wont have your order ready till this day now and then Verizon pushes the day back again cause they cant sell or ship what they don't have. And hell maybe its not Motorola's fault either, maybe they are waiting for parts from one of their suppliers. So there are so many things going on that if one person or company is late with an order then everything gets pushed back

07-20-2010 10:22 AMNot trying to pour salt on the wound, but I ordered mine on the 15th as well, at around 11:00am, and it shipped yesterday. It's out for delivery right now, just waiting for it. If they told me that I have to wait until 8/3, I'd cancel the order and I'd try to find it at a Verizon store, a Walmart or something... I'm reading people are still finding them at stores...
