06-04-2010 02:21 PMi had a screen protector on my old droid, the zagg to be exact. it had a somewhat sticky and orange peel effect which i got tired of.
on my second droid i don't have any protection. And i attempted ot scratch the screen on my old one before sending it back in and that thing wasn't scratched at all. i tried my nail, a pen, a led pencil, nothing scratched it.
I'm too lazy to go get a new protector installed and would seem like a waste of $5 to me now. To think i used $15 before on the first one... -

06-04-2010 03:01 PMI don't like anything stuck on my screen. I've never used a screen protector. I just make sure i'm sorta careful and when my phone is in my pocket, I don't keep anything else in that pocket.
Like others have said though, it's pretty tough to scratch the screen.In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they differ. -

06-04-2010 03:06 PMAgreed, I dont use a screen protector, and have had no issues, its glass, so there are very few things that could possibly scratch it. I do make sure to take all of my diamonds out of my pocket before i put my droid in though.

06-04-2010 03:13 PMI go bareback also...I had a Zagg on mine, I didn't mind the sticky feel to it, but it didn't like the overspray from a can of Off...I had m Droid on a table, I sprayed my legs with Off and when I picked up my Droid it had a bunch of overspray on it that wouldn't clean off with anything...I removed the Zagg and I doubt I'll put another one on. I like the feel and look of it now that I've been without a screen protector.
