font size
Hey all,
Is there anyway to make the font size bigger on the droid? I'm interested in making the home page icon fonts, email and text fonts, etc. everything bigger. Thanks

jza,
As I don't have my droid yet (arriving tomorrow!) I did some research regarding this issue. From what I read these are the steps to increasing the overall font sizes...
1.From the home screen, tap the Application slider at the bottom of the screen.
2.Open the Spare Parts app.
3.Scroll down and tap Font size.
4.Choose your font size!
Again, if this is incorrect please feel free to let me know. Hopefully tomorrow I will have the Droid in my hands and can verify these things before posting.
Good luck!

Spare parts is a free app that you can get from the APP Market however comments says font doesn't save when the app is closed.

Thanks for the response. I knew I should have waited until I had my Droid to respond to any posts!
Thanks for the update!

in the browser, you can hit the menu button, go into more, then settings, and you can adjust the font size there.
that works for the browser only though, i think.

I tried it but when I change the font size to a larger size it goes back to normal. I can't get the changes to stay. Did you have the same problem?

Yes, I had the same problem. Spare parts isn't yet compatible with 2.0
