    Need help with Auto dimming..

    Hey all,

    I had my droid for awhile now but... I still cannot figure out how to turn off auto-dimming?

    It seems to dim every 15 seconds or so even when I am doing something on it and reading something..starting to really annoy me

    Any fix for this? (I did turn auto brightness off and screen timeout to 1 minute)

    No problem thats an easy one
    settings, scroll down to brightness, select
    then uncheck auto brightness

    I find it much better to use without it going up and down all the time
    I use the power widget and usually have it set on the second brightness
    and battery does good there.

    On my power management widgit I keep off the screen brightness until I am in the sunlight. What a clutch feature...ever feel that the sun is making your screen unreadable? Turn up the brightness. Remember there are two settings for making it brighter...green 1 and green 2 on the widgit.

    thats cool info, but I still cant turn off the screen going darker... I give up :/
