Security of data on Droid after exchange?
The headphone jack on my Droid started acting up today. I use it almost daily as a music player so I'll need a replacement phone. I don't have the insurance plan but am under the impression this is something that is covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Should I be given a replacement phone, I'll obviously have to surrender my current phone. I'm a bit concerned about giving it up as it has my e-mail, text messages, passwords, and other personal information stored on it. What is Verizon's policy on exchanged phones? Can I keep my current SD card? Is there a factory reset I can perform on the phone before giving it up?

Not sure on the policy for exchanging SD cards, but a format of the SD card and a factory reset (Google it) will ease you of your troubles.

Thanks for the heads up. I found the option on the phone to delete all saved data.
