I'm not in the military, so I won't ask about that, but what kind of Corp. discounts do they offer? What are the requirements for eligibility?
I have a family plan with 5 phones. I also get a nice discount on my bill for working for a company that uses Verizon exclusively for mobile phones. Would that make me eligible for anything?
If your already getting a % off your bill for being part of that corporation, then you are already getting a perk. As a state worker I get 15% off service, and 25% accessories. While alot of other corps will get anywhere from 15-24% off service so far.

Does anyone know whether a state discount will apply to the monthly family plan if I get the Motorola Droid and renew my contract through Best Buy? We will also need to add a data plan. I have heard that the state discount does not apply to any data plan, even if taken out through Verizon, but I am not 100% sure about that.
Currently, we have a family plan through Verizon and get a % off our monthly bill. The Droid will be a replacement phone on a secondary line so no 'new every 2' rebate on this one. I hate mail-in rebates so I would rather get my $100 off automatically but if I don't continue to get a % off on the monthly plan (and/or the data plan if offered) it may not be worth getting it at Best Buy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.![]()
Any details on family plans to share minutes between two Droid handsets? whats the cheapest option then?
I just checked and at least the state discounted price does show up for data service also. So i would assume that it works for all discounts now.
