Extremely disappointed in our community

Not that this will change how things are going as it will soon run its course. But I am personally very disappointed in our community and many of its members! I feel I need to express my thoughts...

All of this drama that has came to droidforums.net is pure childishness at its best! The way some have been behaving reminds me of a bunch of 8th grade girls bickering over nothing.

Fact is every ROM developer has a talent that most of us do not have. They all do a great job! All of them! But because of this fan-boy-ism that goes on. Flame wars start, threads get closed, topics are not able to be commented on. And for what!?? Because some fanboy of one ROM want to have a pissing contest over some other ROM! Its ridculas, period! All it has accomplished is making my time and many others on this forum a non enjoyable experience. I don't know what the other 49,999+ members are here for. But I am here to learn and interact with others that has a common interest as me.

This is my suggestion to all of you! If you have a issue with a developer take it up with them by a private message. Keep it off the forums. If you want to be a cheerleader for a developer.. cheer away in that dev's thread. If you do not like a particular developers work, don't post in there thread! Its simple common sense. If you have a issue with a developer and think he is using something that is unauthorized or other people's work! Take it to staff privately. Let them look into it and make their decisions on how to handel it. Some of you people take this crap way to serious! Its a phone people! Instead of feeling entitled to these ROM's and hacks, BE GRATEFUL!!! And with that... in the words of Forest Gump. That's all I have to say about that!

right! the rest of us users are being penalized for stuff beyond our control. Totalitarianism. Keep your negative comments off the boards (you know who you are) and praise your developer of choice in "their" threads. No bashing needed

the problem is its a select few people that keep doing this. everyone is different and has different needs no one rom is perfect.

Agreed. We should all take pride that we have such a wonderful open-source platform for ROMs to flourish on. Instead, all ROM users should be focusing their disdain toward closed, proprietary devices like the iPhone.

Just kidding of coarse and I agree. I hope I haven't done that but I do appreciate what people have given without asking for anything in return and how it's made my day a bit better.
