Does Droid have the hardware to FM modulate?

Im about the get an FM modulator to play the sounds thru my stock head unit (car radio).
Just wondering if the Droid has the right stuff to do it? Is there an app for it?

I used an FM modulator for the longest time and it wasn't very good. You'd get better quality out of a new car stereo or buying a kit that hooks into yours to give you a line out.

FM modulators are such a pain in the ass, really.

Occasionally we fly somewhere and rent a car. Some of the cars have an aux in which seems to be the best solution. But we don't know that until we actually get into the car. So an FM modulator would be our fallback to play both music and navigation instructions through the car stereo.
