    Just installed Adamz ROM, based on 2.1. No way I'm unrooting this thing, it ROCKS. I was going to post about how amazing it is, but I'm sure everyone will see how fast the 2.1 update is. It really maeks things smoother. Adamz's rom makes it even better than that.

    But whatever. I'm not unrooting.

    Probably a dumb question here, but I rooted my Droid but didn't install and ROMs or do anything else with it, just the first step of rooting. Will I still receive the notification to update to 2.1 or do I have to unroot first?

    The reason I haven't unrooted is because all the guides I've found have been for resetting the phone back to stock or for uninstalling ROMs, not simply erasing the first step of just rooting the phone.
