About LinkBacksI work for an IT company, my 3G network speed is faster than my wireless here at work usually. All the networks are on fiber connections too. 500+ people will slow it down during the peak hours of the day.

what's a good search term for that? just "wifi"? or maybe "wifi idle" -

03-24-2010 11:15 AMI use Y5 battery saver, it is specifically for Wifi and doesnt have the other bells/whistles. Works very well, never had a problem with it.

03-24-2010 11:33 AMUnder wifi settings advanced you can change what wifi does when the phone is asleep. I have mine set to never sleep, so wifi is always instantly available. I am on wifi 90% of the time.

03-24-2010 12:38 PMYep, Y5 is a great little app. It turn WiFi on and off if you are near a your configured networks or not. It does one thing and does it well.
