    HTML5 contents on droid browser

    Have anyone successfully tried to view HTML5 contents on the droid’s browser? I tried youtube html5 beta contents but it’s showing an error saying im not using a HTML5 compatible browser.

    My guess would be that the stock browser is not HTML5 compatible then.

    Not positive, but I think there was a post about one of the other browsers displaying some HTML5, but not all.

    As I understand it, no browser supports HTML5 because there is no official HTML5 standard. I think I read that the standard is estimated to be in flux until the year 2022, believe it or not!

    However, there is limited support for some of what will probably make it into HTML5. For example, the browsers display the "canvas" tag pretty well. I'm not surprised that the more intensive multimedia stuff is not supported at this time.
