Each contact has two entries

Howdy,

After restoring my contacts, I notice each contact has two entries, but one is blank. Both are google contacts.

Not a big problem, the contact list displays fine, but google says I have 280 contacts when I know there are only 140.

Here's what you can do about multiple contacts:

Merge Gmail Contacts

UPDATE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I had turned off google contacts sync, after a prior problem. Just turned it back on, it quickly synced, and now each contact has only one entry.

Not sure what happed, but google cleaned itself up.

Actually, my problem was multiple entries under a single contact. I did a fresh sync, and problem resolved. Not really sure what was going on, but it's fixed for the moment.
