What speeds is everyone getting over 3g?

im curious what speed you all are getting via the network not over wifi...

heres what im getting im in clearwater florida right now...

use Mobile Speed test and run the 1mb test for the best results.



this is not over WIFI if i did that it would be closer to 20,000 KBPS

I got 1322 Kbps on my 3G the other day when i tested it. I was pleased with that. I am in Western Iowa.

I've been using the Speed Test app.

Three consecutive tests just now:

A: 1751kbps down, 188kbps up, ping 219ms
B: 1145kps down, 558kbps up, ping 200ms
C: 1118kbps down, 570kbps up, ping 570ms

From mobilespeedtest.com results using 1mb file:

A: 543 kbps down
B: 749 kbps down
C: 784 kbps down

i just used the xtreme labs speed test app ran 3 tests they were almost identical

download speed - 2265.1 kbit/sec
max download - 2342.2 kbit/sec

upload speed - 157.3 kbit/sec
max upload - 169.5

those results are waay better then what i got with mobilespeedtest

Mine was roughly 1000k down 550k up 110ms ping with a tower distance of 1.5 to 2 miles (depending on which it connects me to).

Tests A-C were performed sitting in my cubicle at work (pulling OT) on the 4th floor of an 8-story concrete tower and 2-3 bar signal strength.

A. 1062 down, 481 up, 248ms
B. 825 down, 121 up, 245ms
C. 590 down, 670 up, 138ms

Test D was performed by a window in said tower with 5 bar signal strength:
