    Rollout to 2.1 starting but it's been screwed up

    droid eris receives 2.1 update today? **UPDATED** | droid life: a motorola droid blog

    Apparently from this article they started to roll out 2.1 to the Droid today but screwed up and sent it to the Eris. People with the Eris are getting the Droid's 2.1 which is erasing their sense UI and all of their data.

    Someone who got a notification on the Droid could not get it to load evidently...

    Maybe they mixed up the Eris with the Droid eh?

    At least we know it's hours or days away.

    why isnt vzw promoting 2.1 ota like they did 2.01. According to vzw and motorola they was gonna put it on their sites.

    hahahaha, they are probably both due to get it fairly close. Though it is making me glad we got my mom the moto droid, instead of htc eris.
