What is the difference between party shuffle and the normal shuffle?
I believe (correct me folks if I'm wrong)
Party Shuffle = shuffles ALL songs in the library.
Shuffle = shuffles only tracks in select ablum/playlist.
I have yet to get the Droid to shuffle music on a playlist without first going into the playlist, playing a song, then clicking the shuffle button (if it isn't already selected). "Shuffle All" shuffles all the songs in the library, regardless of playlist I'm viewing.
How do I shuffle a playlist?
Apparently it's impossible to shuffle just a playlist in the stock Music app.
Droid Doesn't.
100% WRONG. I'm shuffling one of my playlists right now. Go to your playlist select a song and the middle button (looks like two arrows crossing) is your shuffle. Tap it to turn shuffle on or off.Apparently it's impossible to shuffle just a playlist in the stock Music app.
Lots of people complain about the stock app, but I don't have a problem with it. I create and edit playlists in doubletwist and then just sync it to the phone and play it with the stock app.
"Your phone does all kinds of things daddy. It's the awesomest phone EVER!"
I'm talking about just going into a playlist and hitting shuffle without having to start a song. The Droid lets me shuffle my entire library or party shuffle without starting a song, but not one of the playlists. It means I either start with the same song every time on that playlist or scroll through and randomly choose a song, and then another press to shuffle (if it's off). Pain.
It's things like this that Google needs to have right out of the gate to outdo Apple (and the only reason they are now is because of AT&T).
gotcha. Thenyes you are correct. Actually have to start a song first.
