It's supposed to be coming soon in the next few months...looks pretty cool
There was thread on this earlier though
It says AIR is availble now..
"If that sounds like your cup of tea, it's now available on Android and there are a number of cool demo videos at the DevNet link below."
Well the guy said it was running on 2.0 So it seems that 2.1 has nothing to do with it and it is just Adobe having to get it finished.
Right...
but how do we accuire AIR?
hm
gonna check ADOBE to see if its available since they are saying it is now.
With the inclusion of AIR we are gonna see some sweet stuff.
Basically AIR (Adobe Intergrated Runtime) is an environment that is cross platform and incorporates AJAX, Flash, HTML. So if Adobe pushes out AIR to phones a developer could theoretically write one applications and have it run on all the major phone OS's.
This makes it more worthwhile for the developer and the app envy we sometimes have of other phones will be become less and less common.
Here's some info on AIR

This is a GOOD thing. A very GOOD thing.
Maybe I am in a minority and more excited about AIR then I am for integrated flash.
this is good news, but it has NOTHING TO DO WITH US GETTING FLASH on ANDROID 2.0.![]()
AIR is awesome
Right now you can check out AIR applications on your PC. Just go over to the AIR site and it will give you some stuff. These are mostly just widgets and such for your desktop but I am currently using the pandora one.
Seriously, it just made my day that AIR is coming out for Android. I think it should be in the news but I don't think it has a broad enough appeal.
