    Style of Asian Paintings?

Hello there, I found this image attached from Zedge, and I really like this style of asian paintings and I want to start using more of them.

Can someone check out this image, and tell me the style so I can look more on the web so I can use as my backgrounds?

    Thanks

Looks good to me....Thats a cool wallpaper.

Thanks but I am trying to figure out what the style is so I can download more. I tried looking up in google Styles of Asian Painting etc, and still kind find more of this kind. I have seen them before, very similar to koi fish style tattoos.

It's a Japanese print, not a painting. Look up Hokusai.

It's from famous artist in Japan, Hokusai. Studied him in art class in Design School and saw his work in a museum once. Mt. Fuji was one of his main focus.

It's Ukiyo-e (art of the floating world) they are Japanese wood block prints and according to many art historians is the inspiration for the impressionist movement.

A little more can be found here....

    Hope this helps.
