Yes it is mentioned in another thread, but I think it deserves a stand alone thread.

Anyone played with it yet? Have you got it on your gmail yet? Only have it on Maps so far, pretty cool possibilities. Unfortunatly probably going to be filled with "I love my kids!", "baking a pie!", "I'm going to drink a soda!"

It is just like twitter but you can find out what is happening locally. I think it is really cool. If there was a company passing out free food maybe there would be a lot of buzz posts around a location and you can see what is going on.

I tried a picture and made a few posts, pretty cool.

I think it could be very cool for traffic issues, weather information etc.

Wll be interesting to see how it evolves and how much energy Google puts into it.

yes..weather would be great or traffic. like if there a long traffic on the mountain someone can buzz it. like road block off turn around. then again they can just make it up too, no?

Possibly if someone isn't careful, though the GPS isnt really accurate enough in an urban environment to find a particular person, though a more rural environment it definitely could.
